About the Winery:
Laurent Delaunay, the mastermind behind the La Cour des Dames wines, hails from a family with a rich heritage in Burgundy. Having pursued oenology training and gained experience working in various places, including California, he embarked on his independent winemaking journey in France, establishing himself near Nuits-Saint Georges in 1995. While maintaining a focus on crafting exceptional wines from Burgundy, he also delved into the exploration of top-quality wines in the Southern region of France.
One of the most significant challenges for this expert in Burgundy wines was producing an outstanding pinot noir outside the boundaries of Burgundy. However, his quest led him to discover the perfect match on the elevated vineyards from the foothills of the Cévennes mountains to the Upper Aude Valley. La Cour des Dames offers elegant, fruity, expressive, harmonious wines just waiting to be discovered!
