About the Winery:
Domaine des Aires Hautes was founded in 1938 and is located near the town of Siran in the Minervois. The Domaine is owned and run today by Gilles Chabbert (pictured), who is the 3rd generation winemaker at the vineyard. The 28 ha of vineyards are located in the sub-region, Petit Causse, between the two towns of Siran and La Livinière. The area’s vineyards are located at an altitude of up to 400 m in an amphitheatre-like formation with a perfect southwest orientation and cooling via the winds from the Mediterranean. The vineyards are primarily planted with old vines with Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.
