Italy | Alto Adige
A winery on a historic itinerary, the “Sentiero di Dürer” is the itinerary that the world famous painter Albrech Durer travelled from Salorno to Cembra in 1494, on the border between South Tyrol and Trentino.
Wines come from vineyards in the Salorno region, which runs east of the River Adige. Manual harvesting is a must here as there are steep inclines in the vineyards. This harvest was also left on lees for about six months, giving a nice creamy texture with subtle notes of spices to the wines.
