Climate: The 2021 vintage featured a cold spring that delayed budding, followed by a warm, dry summer with significant diurnal temperature shifts in Radda, leading to excellent fruit quality.
Terroir: Located at 410–450 meters altitude; soils are stony with marl and limestone-rich clay.
Aging: Fermented in stainless steel with 10–15 days of skin contact, then aged for 12 months in large European oak barrels (botti), followed by 6 months of bottle refinement.

Color: Bright ruby red with violet highlights.
Nose: Complex bouquet of violet, red berry, cherry, and currant, complemented by black tea, vanilla, white pepper, and licorice.
Palate: Full-bodied and decisive, featuring velvety tannins, high salinity, and a strong acid backbone that ensures freshness and longevity.


About the Winery:
Arillo in Terrabianca is a prominent Tuscan wine project owned by the Burkard family, operating across three distinct estates in Chianti Classico, Maremma, and Val d’Orcia. The winery adheres to a minimalist, certified organic, and Equalitas sustainable philosophy to promote soil biodiversity. Their historic Radda in Chianti headquarters is being transformed into a modern landmark, featuring a cellar designed by architect Mario Botta. Producing approximately 365,000 bottles annually, the estate focuses on acclaimed labels like Campaccio and Vigna Terrabianca.
