About the Winery:
The story of the Tement Winery is – like so many winery stories – a family story. “Families are the sum of their individuals and their personal experiences”.

Their beginnings go back to Josef and Edina Tement and the year 1959. Two hectares of Zieregg and Grassnitzberg and a traditional Styrian Heuriger form the starting point of today’s winery.

After the much too early death of their father, Manfred Tement took over responsibility for it. The father’s good reputation and the 3 hectares of vineyards are the only starting capital.

Over the years, a lot has come into being. Some things have come, others have gone, but one thing has always remained: the love of wine, of this very special region and the commitment to unconditional quality. Principles that Armin and his brother Stefan literally carry in their DNA. It provides the framework within which the brothers move and have learned to develop. Only in this way is it possible to find the path in which consistency has just as much a place as change.
