Ageing: Wild-fermented with whole bunch inclusion to enhance fragrance and texture. Matured in old French oak barrels to soften tannins while keeping oak influence subtle.
Color: Bright ruby with a translucent edge
Nose:  Lifted aromas of red cherries, wild strawberries, rose petals, and a hint of spice. Light earthy undertones and a touch of dried herbs.
Palate: Juicy and vibrant with silky tannins. Flavours of fresh red berries and pomegranate unfold with delicate floral notes, balanced by refreshing acidity. Medium-bodied with a smooth, elegant finish that makes it highly drinkable.

Rock of Eye is a South African wine brand founded by winemaker Coenie Snyman, inspired by the term “rock of eye” which describes the intuitive, instinct-driven precision of a skilled tailor. The viticultural philosophy centers on a deep understanding and partnership with the land and vineyards, selecting sites with decomposed granite soils and collaborating with growers to express the unique terroir of Stellenbosch. The winemaking process itself is guided by this same balance of experience and intuition, from vineyard management to the final bottle.
