This tropical rum is made from molasses and aged in bourbon barrels. Rum is a blend of the contents of two barrels from two wineries – from the islands of Fiji and Indonesia. On the island of Fiji, sugar cane is grown, from which sugar is made, and from molasses, in turn, rum is produced. The drink is bottled without cold filtration

About:
Over the course of its 400-year history, Château du Breuil has become a world-renowned brand, a true quality hallmark for its Calvados AOC Pays d’Auge and range of spirits. The Rum Explorer range showcases Château du Breuil’s know-how: the art of blending. The Cellar Master has created a blend of Rums from several Caribbean countries, in order to create a highly aromatic beverage.

The team travels around the world to select the finest Rums from top distilleries in order to offer our customers an ever-expanding range. By choosing local distilleries with excellent local reputations and drawing on the spirit-ageing know-how of our Cellar Master, we were able to further refine the Rums without having to add any sugar.

“The ageing process, even more than the raw material, fermentation and distillation, has an enormous influence on the final quality of a spirit. Our work on this selection of Rums has been focused on a single goal: to refine them while respecting their origins and the work of those who crafted them; but above all, to lend them an extra special something through our ageing processes.” – Cellar Master, Philippe Etignard
