About the Winery:
The first mention of Domaine De Boisseyt ‘Viniblio de Boissie’ dates back to the 14th Century. However, it is more recently (after the French Revolution in 1797) that Domaine De Boisseyt was formed. Family run for six generations by the Chol family, Didier and Agnes Chol decided to retire after their children did not want to take over the winery. They chose to sell to winemaking partners Olivier Decelle and Pierre-Jean Villa in 2017 and appreciated that the acquisition would allow for transmission to the next generation.

Domaine de Boisseyt has an annual production of 5,000 cases produced from 24 acres spread among Côte-Rotie, Condrieu, St-Joseph and Vin de Pays, which includes some legendary plots. Both Decelle and Villa are committed to sustainability, with an aim to convert the entire estate to organic viticulture and re-establish Domaine De Boisseyt as one of the great Northern Rhone producers.
