About the Winery:
In 1994 the Count Degenfeld family successfully revived its wine estate in the Tokaji wine region following their over 150-year-old tradition.

Winemaking here has always included the love of nature, respect for traditions and all this combined with modern technology. Degenfeld is currently producing dry wines and sweet wine from the three main varieties of the region: Furmint, Hárslevelű, and Muscat Blanc (Yellow Muscat) in the sweet late-harvest, Szamorodni, and the famous Aszú style.

The winery currently owns 35 hectares of vineyards located in historical sites such as Mád, Tarcal, Terézia and Zomborka. The vineyards have also since been certified organic in 2009.
