Terroir: A close neighbour of Montrachet, lying between Chassagne and Puligny, Saint Aubin is a wine-growing village in the southern part of Cote de Beaune, the heartland of the great white Burgundies. The Chardonnays grow on white clays with a high limestone content on steep slopes with an eastern/south eastern exposure. Altitude varies between 300 to 350 metres
Ageing: Vinification and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and aged for 10 months in oak barrels. Cold stabilisation and filtered before bottling

Color: Clear and bright with a golden yellow hue with greenish tints
Nose: Expressive, charming with aromas of ripe fruits intensified by scents of warm brioche, fresh butter and pleasantly incorporated woodiness
Palate: Full-bodied and rich on the palate with an elegant and extremely delicate texture. Marvellous and majestic finish


About the Winery:
A rare find in a region dominated by prestigious and big name wineries – Pierre Lamy was simply born out of a family’s strong passion for gastronomy. Born in 1925 in Nuits Saint Georges, Pierre has led a full and enriching life in food and hospitality. He turned to the kitchen at an early age and has never looked back, commencing a career of longevity in many of the region’s top hotels and restaurants and eventually working his way to the Executive Chef of the famed Lycée Marey de Beaune until his retirement.

Pierre has always been an avid lover of Burgundian cuisines and wines, and his gastronomic wines pay homage to this. He also hails from a family of negociants with exceptional relations with reputable grape growers all over the region. Their expertise in grape growing, winemaking and elevage has led them to the success we know today.
