El Hombre Bala | Spain
The project started in 2010 with the two winemakers of Comando G. – Fernando Garcia and David Landi joining efforts to develop wines from old vines of Garnacha from the Gredos Mountain. Vines were selected from five different vineyards between 50 to 90 years old, located on the west side of Madrid in Cadalso de los Vidrios. The grapes are hand-harvested at the perfect moment of ripeness. Grape maceration lasts an average of 30 days at low temperature with fermentation then taking place at controlled temperature in oak barrels and wooden vats. The result is a true reflection of the Garnachas grown in the Gredos Mountain.
