About the Winery:
Overlooking both Cheval Blanc and Pétrus, this is a beautifully located, family owned château that produces outstanding claret. It is one of the oldest properties in Montagne which in itself is the smallest appellation in the Bordeaux region with only 18 growers. Dating back to the 16th Century the property has 23ha of vines that surround the Château. Jacques Rambaud took over from his father in 2005. The grapes come from 35 year old vines, and the wines are aged for 18 months in barrels, 40% being new.
