About the Winery:
Villa di Corlo is a small producer of Lambrusco, located in Emilia-Romagna. The primary mission of this winery was outlined from the beginning by using only grapes grown in their own vineyards, combined with the latest technology to achieve the best possible product.
In the 25 hectares of vineyards at 320 meters above sea level, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and mostly Grasparossa grapes have south east to easterly exposures and are grown following the Guyot system. The microclimate helps not only to mature the grapes but also to characterize the wine. The soil profile is clay and silty, giving modern wines with a lively sparkle, rich flavors with good acidity. The winery also practises sustainability in the grape growing and wine-making process, a photovoltaic system provides clean energy for the production
